Mrs. Rutledge died Saturday in Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. A native of Cisco, Texas, she had lived in Madison Parish for 25 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Rutledge; two sons, Arnold Rutledge, Garland, Ark., and Ancil Rutledge, Texarkana, Ark.; five daughters, Mrs. Inez Rich, Bradley, Ark., Mrs. Lucille Cox, Tallulah, Mrs. Gertrude Bledsoe, Texarkana, Ark., Mrs. Olera Talley, Springhill, and Mrs. Marceline Arnold, Morgansport; two sisters, Mrs. Essie Amos, Corpus Christi, Tex., and Mrs. Bessie Nelson, Shreveport; 25 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
