EAST COBLESKILL, Sept. 16---Mrs. Daisy Aker, 75, widow of the late Barner Aker of East Cobleskill, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ada G. Francisco, at Schenectady. She had been in ill health for sometime. She was born in Cobleskill, November 23, 1860, the daughter of James and Adaline Schemehorn Guernsey. Mrs. Aker is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Francisco; one sister, Mrs. James Story of Cobleskill; and two brothers, Charles Guernsey of Massachusetts and Edgar Guernsey of California. Funeral services were held from the Mereness funeral home in Cobleskill Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Foster W. Taylor officiating. Interment at Barnerville."
