Charles C. ADDLEMAN died at 11:45 p.m. Monday at his home, 118 First Street, following a lingering illness. The son of Ashbury and Prudence WHITE-ADDLEMAN, he was born in Muscatine on Jan. 10, 1874. He married Katherine METZENPTINE (Metzentine) on Feb. 3, 1897 in Muscatine. He was a member of the Methodist church of West Liberty and a dairy farmer by occupation.
Surviving are the widow and one son Hershall (Hershel), of Columbus Junction; a daughter, Sadie WHEELOCK, of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Lynn, of Salem, Mo., and Frank, of West Liberty; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
The body is at the Snider Funeral home where services are pending.
