Mrs. George Quickstad Dies Monday Mrs. George Quickstad, 308 2nd Ave. SE, died Monday at 3:10 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gilfie Schultz. The 62-year-old woman, whose death was caused by a heart attack, had been ill several years. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p. m. at Grace Lutheran church with the Rev. M. D. Hinderlie officiating. Burial will be in Woodville cemetery. Pallbearers will be Oliver Simonson, New Richland, Ole Evenson and Floyd Jorgenson, Albert Lea, all cousins of the deceased, Floyd and Raymond Hanson, Mankato, and Lester Anderson, Waseca, nephews. Palma Cellia Anderson was born Feb. 8, 1893, in Otisco township to Mr and Mrs. Arnie and Barbara Anderson. She attended grade school in Waseca county. Her marriage to George Quickstad too place on Dec. 23, 1910 at Pontoppidan Lutheran church in Lemond. After their marriage the couple lived on a farm in Otisco for many years before moving to Waseca. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children: Mrs. Vernon Monson, Carthage, Mo.; Orris Quickstad, Mrs. Gilfie Schultz and Mrs. Leona Bartz, all of Waseca; and Geo. Quickstad, St. Paul. Surviving brothers and sisters are Harry and Clarence, New Richland, Art and Geo. Anderson, Austin; Rudolph Anderson, Ellendale; Mrs. Robt. Hanson, Mankato, and Mrs. Lowell Thompson (Gladys), Chicago. One sister, Mrs. Oscar Peterson (Minnie), and a half-sister, Miss Canetta Olson, preceded her in death. She also leaves 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
