Taken from The Pella Chronicle of Pella, IA published March 11, 1943 Her obituary states: Mrs Henry Gosselink - Mrs Marguerite Gosselink, 61 years, died at the Mahaska Hospital, Oskaloosa, Iowa, early last Saturday morning following a brief illness. Mrs. Gosselink was the daughter of Teunis and Cynthia Ver Beek. She was born at Pella on February 28, 1882 and has lived here all her life. On April 1, 1901, at Pella she married Henry Gosselink and to this union three children were born. Those who preceded her in death were her father, who died on July 1, 1929, a brother Teunis died on October 12, 1918, and a sister, Mrs Flora Aikens, died on March 27, 1927. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, two sons, Albert of Pella and Lynn Lee of ?, Texas, two daugters, Cynthia (Mrs Frank Hoksbergen) of Iowa City, Iowa, and Tunie (Mrs Everett Heyveld) of Pella. She also leaves her mother, one brother, Ivo Ver Beek of Marshalltown, Iowa, six sisters, Mrs Edward Pratt and Mrs Anna Aeklins, both of Knoxville, Iowa, Mrs J.S. Fulmer and Mrs L.R. Wells of Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs Wm Tait of Pella, Iowa, Mrs C.H. Smith of Leighton, Iowa, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 10, 1943 at 1:30 pm from the home and at 2 pm from the Open Bible Church. The Reverend T.A. Tousley officiated. Burial was in the Oakwood cemetery.
