CLERGYMAN LOSES WIFE
Mrs. Gertrude McDonald, wife of Rev. W.H. McDonald's prominent Jackson county clergyman, died in an Iowa City hospital, despite an operation that indicated success, and her ultimate recovery, until a sudden turn for the worse came.
The decedent's home was Maquoketa, but the body was taken to Marion, Iowa, for burial.
Friends will offer the good clergyman and his son, Harold, the nearest surviving relatives, deep sympathy.
