Judge C. "J.C." Clement Sr., 95, Belmont, Miss., died Feb. 24, 2013 at ECM Hospital. He was born September 30, 1917 to Doc Walker and Mary Wigginton Clement. He was an overhead crane operator for Reynolds Metals. He was loved and admired by those who knew him. He was a man of wisdom and lived a life committed to his family. He touched everyone he knew with his sense of humor and his love of life.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Miss., with Bro. Roger Wood and Bro. Greg Forbus officiating. Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by four children, Joyce Clement Thompson (Dr. Donald) and Jack Ronald Clement (Dawn) all of Florence, Jo'el Clement Thompson of Birmingham and J.C. Clement Jr. (Patsy) of Belmont; Eight Grandchildren, Angela Loo'ser, Mark Dennis, Annalisa Jager, Todd Thompson, Tammy Bostick, Clay Clement, Mollie Walker McLemore and Carter Clement; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Clement of Sheffield.

He was preceded in death by his wife-Alvalene Mayhall Clement; ten brothers and sisters, Illa Prestage, Ida Allen, Edith Goodwin, Inez Goodwin, Annie Frost, LaRue Montgomery, Robert E. Clement, Edward Clement, John Clement and D.W. Clement.

Pallbearers will be Clay Clement, Carter Clement, Todd Thompson, Mark Dennis, Justin Thompson, Houston Loo'ser, Alex Jager, Jordan Jager, Reagon Jager, and Torrey Bostick.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at Deaton Funeral Home Belmont, Miss.
