Note: All earlier references to this person say he is at Graceland Cemetery, Chicago. He was cremated there but his remains have been removed to the Mausoleum at Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum.

B. F. Pinkerton, second son of Joseph, 1810-1854, and Susan (Shadow) Pinkerton, 1826-1900, was a Civil War Vet who engaged at Gettysburg and is named on the PA monument there.

He was a school teacher and principal at Tremont and Hollidaysburg in Blair Co. and moved to the Chicago area in 1892. Married twice, four children.
