Jeannette Kathron Lindsay Yount
1939 - 2013

Jeannette Kathron Yount, 73, of Spanish Fork, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep and returned home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 21, 2013. She was born July 25, 1939, to George F. and Stella Kate Olsen Lindsay in Placerville, California. Jeannette attended El Camino High School and the College of Eastern Utah for business management. Jeannette worked as a dispatcher for Sammon's Trucking, and then as assistant curator at the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum.

She married her love, Harold, on Dec, 14, 1961, in Sacramento, California. Their marriage was solemnized in the Oakland Temple on September 2, 1965. They loved each other dearly, were each others best friend and recently celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary together. Their love survived and thrived even amid the sorrow of losing one of their children. Through the years, she put the gospel of Jesus Christ into practice by serving as called, mainly teaching Gospel Doctrine. She lived her testimony.

She is survived by her husband, Harold E Yount and children Kathy (Brandon) Davis, Dan Yount, Rick (Julie) Yount, Vickie (Roger) Barthalow, Mike (Sharon) Yount. Jeannette was preceded in death by her beloved son Russell Andrew, parents, George and Kate Lindsay and sister Marilyn Whitehead.

We are so grateful and proud of her, her many accomplishments and her valiant fight enduring the health battles that plagued her. We love her very much and will miss her until we are reunited once again.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February, 28, 2013 at the Meadow Lark 2nd Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 870 East Canyon Road, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm during the viewing at the church and again on Thursday 10:00-10:45 am prior to the service.
