Age 90 - passed away on February 23, 2013 at Preston Place in Redgranite, WI. He was born on January 16, 1923 in New Holstein, WI, the son of Clarence and Viola (Daul) Bargenquast. He married Geraldine K. Testolin on September 14, 1946 at Holy Trinity Church in Jericho, Calumet County, WI.
Wallace is survived by his wife, Gerry, children: Lonnie (John) Selthofner of Pine River, Dennis Bargenquast of Weyauwega, Lynn Hauck of Jackson, Allen (Sally) Bargenquast of Lannon, and Dwayne (Paula) Bargenquast of Kaukauna, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He is further survived by a sister: June Zahn of Missouri, a sister-in-law: Ruth Bargenquast of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson; his parents, and two brothers: Donald and Harold.
Wallace had been a self employed truck driver for 39 years, retiring in 1985. He had served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a life member of V.F.W. Post 1037 in Waupaca. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, and playing Bingo, and he was often called on to do repairs on vehicles for family and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Poy Sippi, WI on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Following the visitation Military Honors will be observed outside the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pine River Cemetery in Pine River, WI
