Her father married (1894)Wynona Justice after his first wife, America Conner Wright died in 1893. When William Gideon died he left two boys. Lillie did have brothers from her father's first marriage, Will & Walter Wright.
Her father was killed in Sept 1912 in an awful accident. "William G Wright was electrocuted at McConnell Ranch north of Colusa, while attempting to put in a concrete flume for the Boedefeld Irrigation Canal, the pipe came in contact with a high voltage wire. One other man was killed and another hurt."
She Married Felix Ferdinand "Ferd" Smith in 1913. Ferd was in the Navy and after he was discharged he returned to Colusa and they were married about a year later. It was a real love match.
Lillie became the mainstay of a growing family. Ferd farmed in Colusa and Glen Counties. He was Master of the Grange in Williams for several years and representative of the county at the State Grange Convention.
During all of this Lillie Mae was there to support him and truly helped in his success.

Robert Darwin Smith (1931-1971)
Lillie died much too soon after being struck with Cancer. Ferd mourned her and died a few months later.
