McKENZIE: Lucille Morris Milam, 80, died Friday, February 24, at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Services were held Sunday, February 26, at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home with Bro. Harrell Nation officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Milam was born in Atwood on February 22, 1926, to the late Joseph and Mattie Churchwell Morris. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulis Massey (Smokey) Milam; one brother, Howard Morris; and one sister, Dorothy Sue Morris. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Hopper of Memphis; one son, Jimmy Milam of Nashville; two sisters, Linda Richmond of Memphis and Helen Gregory of Memphis; one brother, Joe Morris of Nashville; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis.
