Benjamin Houghton of Scipioville died at his home in that place on Thursday, Jan. 28, aged 78 years. The deceased was born in England and had lived at Scipioville for fifty years. He was a blacksmith by occupation.
He is survived by a large family of children, his wife having died last April.
Funeral services were held at the Scipioville M.E. church on Saturday at 2 o'clock and burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.
