MRS. BERTHA WEAVER Mrs. Bertha Weaver, wife of Scott Weaver died in the State Hospital at Danville, Pa., Sunday, September 11th following an illness of pneumonia. She had been a patient there for more than four years. Her age was 35 years, 1 month and 15 days. Mrs. Weaver was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. .Milton Teter, late of Upper Paxton Township, born July 26, 1897. She had been a member of the Lutheran faith. The Weaver family formerly resided here. Survivors are her husband of Shamokin, three children, Virginia Belle and Frederick Weaver, residing with their father at Shamokin and Gerald Weaver, residing with an uncle Mr. and Mrs. F. Blair Weaver, town. Other survivors are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. George Weaver, Tower City; Mrs. Mabel Potteiger, Millersburg; Aaron Teter, and Stanley Teter, Millersburg R. D. 2; and a step-sister, Mrs. Charles Weaver, Berrysburg. Private services were held from the home of Mr. Weaver's mother, Mrs. Josephine Weaver, West Main Street, town', at four o'clock Wed nesday afternoon. Rev. W. Z. Artz, pastor of Salem Lutheran Church officiated and interment was made in Maple Grove cemetery.
