Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Marie Cox
Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Marie Cox, age 37, of Route 1, Quitman, were held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, in the Fellowship Baptist Church near Hodge.
Rev. Reubin Hammons conducted the services. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Mrs. Cox died Friday night in the Lincoln General Hospital in Ruston after a brief illness.
Survivors include her husband Henry Eugene Cox, Quitman; two sons, Henry E. Cox, Jr. and Gary L. Cox, both of Quitman;
three daughters, Mrs. Janice Monroe, Goldonna, Marlene Cox and Shrilena Cox, Quitman; five sisters, Mrs. Nellie Aldy, Jonesboro, Mrs. Lillian Shirgart, Mrs. Lil Virban and Mrs. Maudie Holahan, all of California; Mrs. Marjorie Stewart, Goldonna;
three brothers, J.D. Aldy and Buddy Aldy, both of Jonesboro and Joseph Aldy of Colorado; one grandchild also survives.
Pallbearers were Jessie Anderson, Jerry Aldy, Leon Aldy, Michael Aldy, Joe Stewart and Johnny Stewart.
