21 July 1948: Funeral services were held at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon at the Walmer Church, for Clarence Boeshore, of Jonestown RFD 2. He had been an elder for many years of the Reformed Congregation worshipping there. He had died while in attendance there at the services last Sunday morning. The body was buried in the adjoining church yard. The Rev. Donald Backenstose, pastor of the Lutheran Congregation, officiated. The bearers were; five fellow members of the Consistory; Guy Nye, Raymond Lash, Harvey Shuey, Allen Houser & Irvin Shuey; & also Paul Houser, Superintendent of the Union Sunday School.
