Terry Allen Smith, 64, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013.He was a lifelong resident of Marion County, Tenn., and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from the U.S. Army as a combat engineer in 1986 after 20 1/2 years.He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie Mae Smith; parents, Samuel Thomas and Kathlene McClure Smith; and brothers, Ronnie and William Smith.Terry is survived by his children, Jeffery Allen Smith, of Jasper, Terri Rena Jones, of Italy and Daniel Lee Smith, of Whitwell; sister, Patricia Massey; grandchildren, Latasha, Kayla, Bransen, Jimmy and Acacia; great-grandchildren, Joveyon and Easton; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full Military Honors.The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. today, all day on Thursday and prior to the service on Friday.Arrangements by W.L.
