Soldier of 1812, One of the first settlers around 1820 of Anderson Township, Indiana. He was Justice of Peace, taught school, in 1824 and was a correspondent of the war dept. He was first assessor in county, and the first election was held in his home. He also acted as county commissioner and served as county Coroner.
