Eutha Mae Kirkland, age 81, of Gainesville, Missouri passed away, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was born March 4, 1931 in Bentley Ridge, Arkansas to Jim Ed and Cora (Oels) Trivitt.
Mrs. Kirkland married Claude Kirkland March 17, 1954 in Gainesville, Missouri. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting at Lick Creek Fire Department, cooking, sewing, gardening, handwork, housekeeping and the outdoors. She was a member of the Clarkridge Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kirkland is survived by a daughter: Colleen Kendall and husband Marion Dale of Clarkridge, Arkansas, a brother: Chester Trivitt and wife Patsy of Gainesville, Missouri, two grandchildren: Holly Strain and husband Michael, Cody Kendall, adopted grandson: Doug Hayes, two great-grandchildren: Morgan and Cami Strain and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and an infant daughter.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Estel Grigg and Brother Edward Smith officiating. A visitation will be Tuesday from Noon until service time at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Howard's Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Gassville Nursing Home.
