Oscar A. Badgley, 79, 848 North St., Greenfield, died at 8:10 P.M. Sunday, March 25, 1973 at Greenfield Area Medical Center.
He was born in Mowrystown Nov. 28, 1893, the son of Albert Wiley Badgley and Mary Eliabeth Young Badgley. He was a retired foreman at the American Pad & Textile Company. He was a member of the United Brethren Church of Greenfield.
He was married to Ethel Mae Webb July 3, 1914. She survives.
Other survivers include Mrs. Wilbur Willis (Margaret) Bobb and Mrs. Michael (Betty) Denako, both of Greenfield, Mrs. Charles (Jerry) Raike, Wilmington, and Mrs. Carl (Maxine) Elberfield, Washington C. H.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Stella Thomas, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Five brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter preceded him in death.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Murray Funeral Home with Rev. Robert K. Blaine officiating and burial in Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 4 P.M. Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the new church construction funds.
