Louis J. Baack, 63, succumbs at Sioux City Home.

Funeral services for Louis J. Baack, 63, of Sioux City, who died Sunday(October 27, 1946), were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran church with Rev. E.L. Wittop in charge. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery in Sioux City.

Mr. Baack was born at Ireton February 13, 1883, where he lived until 1905. He married Mary Bultman of Hawarden, August 6, 1906, which he farmed in the Hawarden vicinity a number of years. Later he went to Holland, Minnesota, but for many years he lived at Bronson. The past two years he lived in Sioux City where he was employed by the Sioux City Farm and City Supply Co.

Survivors are the widow; two sons, William of Akron and Louis, Jr. of Oskaloosa; five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Boone, and Mrs. Marie Frerichs of LeMars, Mrs. Helen Jordan of Wheaton, Ill., Mrs. Sophie Bush of Moville and Leona Baack of Sioux City. A son Harry was killed March 20, 1943 while serving in the navy.

Relatives from Hawarden who attended the services were Mrs. George Bultman, Sr., Mrs. Sophia Goettsch, William Bultman, Mr. and Mrs. John Bultman, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bultman and Charley Busch.
