According to her Cabell County, West Virginia Death Certificate, Lucinda was buried in the Bethesda Cemetery. I found no stone for her. I found an obituary for her that was in the Gallipolis Tribune, 07 Nov 1931 that stated burial was at the Rome, Lawrence County, O. cemetery

OBERLIN CARTER'S MOTHER PASSES IN HUNTINGTON

Mrs. Lucinda Carter, Native of Gallia County, Was 96 years old.

Mrs. Lucinda Williams Carter, 96 years old, mother of O. M. carter, at one time attached to the American Embassy in London, and Dr. D. P. Carter, Huntington dentist, died shortly after 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home, where she had resided the last 10 years. Death followed a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon with Dr. S. Roger Tyler, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be at the Rome , Lawrence County, O., Cemetery.
The daughter of James and Catherine Waddell Williams, Mrs. Carter was born May 1, 1835, at Bethesda, Gallia County, Ohio.
After her marriage in 1855 to Robert Thompson Carter, she resided near Patriot, O., later moving to a farm known as Carter's Landing, located a short distance east of Proctorville. Her husband died 44 years ago.
When her eldest son, O. M. Carter, became attached to the American Embassy in London, she visited him there, and spent several months touring Scotland, Egypt and Italy.
Coming to Huntington 10 years ago, Mrs. Carter has since made her home with Mr. C. E. Spencer, 921 Fifth Avenue.
Mrs. Carter was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her son, O. M. Carter of Lake Wales, Fla., has been in Huntington several days and was at her bedside when she died.
In addition to O. M. and Dr. D. P. Carter, she leaves another son, I. Stanton Carter of Council, Idaho; two grandsons, Stanton Hoover Carter, also of Council and Emerson Lucas, of Florence, Ala.
Mrs. A. J. Stormont of this city is a niece of the deceased.

Lucinda married Robert Thompson Carter on 17 July, 1855 in Gallia Co., Ohio.

Robert was born 08 Nov. 1830 in Gallia Co., Ohio; died 24 Feb. 1887 at Quakers Bottom, Lawrence Co., OH.
