Sherman Arthur Jensen, 84, returned to our Father in Heaven after a full and happy life on February 20, 2013. He was born on September 4, 1928 to Leah Viola Wilson and Thorvald Arthur Jensen.

He was born, lived, loved, and died in Lyman, Wyoming. He received his draft notice the day he married Gloria Shurtleff on November 18, 1950. He served our country from 1950-1952 fighting in three of the four major battles of the Korean War.

He supported his wife and six children by working for FMC for 41 years. In 1967 he gained a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints. His family became an eternal family on February 20, exactly 46 years to the day he died. He served as executive secretary, ward clerk, high priest group leader and worked in the Ogden Temple.

He loved the mountains, hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and sports, especially basketball. His fun personality will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife Gloria; children, Bradley and (Karen) Jensen , Albuquerque, NM; Jeani and (Ernie) Field, Syracuse, UT; Bruce Jensen, Salt Lake City, UT; Jolane and (Jeff ) Thornock, Fruit Heights, UT; Brian and (Alysia) Jensen, Lyman, WY; Colette and (Randy ) Christopherson, Lyman, WY.
