James "Jay" Dewey Cornelius, 85, joined his wife, Margie Elaine Cornelius, in heaven Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Jay was a blessing to many people throughout his life. He was known for being a kind and friendly man who loved Jesus with all his heart. He will be missed by many people. Survivors: Daughters, Judy Dodson and husband, Don, and Jodie Cornelius; grandchildren, Beth Anne and Jeremy Dane, Kevin and Deborah Dodson; great-grandsons, Ryder, Fisher and Brock; sisters, Jackie Graves, Mary Lou Page and Pat Smith; sisters and brother-in-law, Nancy Spencer and Dale and Betty Danielson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
