C.O. McMillan, 69, 201 S. 2nd, Marion, formerly of Marion, died at 9:25 pm Wednesday, August 12, 1992 at Marion Memorial Hospital.

Mr. McMillan owned and operated the McMillan Barber Shop in Herrin until his retirement in 1984. He was a veteran of World War II in the Army.

Services will be in Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin and burial will be in Herrin City Cemetery.

He was born October 5, 1922 in Herrin to Elmer Harland and Beulah Lacefield McMillan. He married Betty J. Eady June 19, 1947 in Kentucky and she survives. Other survivors include daughters, Karen Evrard of Carterville and Sue Smith of Johnston City, 5 grandchildren, brother Harold McMillan of Marion and sister, Reenorma Perrine of Herrin. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne McMillan
