Etelvina Curtis of Highland, a native of Columbia, South America, lived in San Bernardino County for 38 years, died tuesday at Heritage Gardens Convalsecent Hospital in Loma Linda at the age of 88; the cause of death is pending a doctor's report. She was a member of University Seventh-day Adentist Church in Loma Linda and was survived by her two daughters, Ethel Adkins of Highland and Helen Bancroft of Rochester, New York, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services are 2 p.m., Friday at Montecito Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
