Mr. Lester Lawrence Lewis, a retired farmer of Casey Creek, Route 1, son of the late Mr. Harvey Lewis and Mrs. Callie Graybeal Lewis, was born in Ash County, North Carolina, September 17, 1893. He died at 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 8, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. He had been a patient there for the past two years. Mr. Lewis was 79 years of age. He professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of God in Adair County. He united in marriage to Miss Nannie McDaniel February 9, 1914. She preceded him in death May 22, 1972. To this union two sons and one daughter were born. Surviving are: Mr. Raymond Lewis and Mrs. Ruby Blair, both of Campbellsville; Mr. William R. Lewis of Columbia; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters: Mrs. Carlie Perkins of Casey Creek; Mrs. Dora Graybeal of Pendleton, Oregon; and Mrs. Pearl Harden of Morris, Illinois; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. J. D. Campbell and Rev. Richard Ramsey. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: J. D. Blair, Bobby Blair, William T.
