She was born January 16, 1913 in Stonington, IL the daughter of Anthony and Eugenie Jouglet Duni. She married Eugene S. Allen on November 25, 1936 in Decatur, IL and he preceded in death on December 2, 1978. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of the Stonington United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her nephew: Errol A. Duni and wife Marilyn of Taylorville, IL; niece, Rita A. Paulek and husband Frank of Stonington, sister-in-law: Theresa M. Duni of Stonington and a cousin, Dorothy Shivers of Taylorville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 brother Tony Duni, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at McClure Funeral Home Taylorville, IL with Pastor Bob Spurgin officiating. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery, Stonington, IL. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services in the funeral home on Wednesday.
