Everett was a Machinist Mate 2nd Class (CB) in the US Navy during WWII and was stationed in Okinawa. Everett died of acute myocardial infraction.

DEATH - EVERETT L. TOLLE:
"Everett L. Tolle, 72, 408 W. Fourth St., died unexpectedly Monday st St. John's Medical Center.
He was born March 10, 1918, in Clinton County, and had lived in Anderson since 1955, moving here from Kempton. He retired in 1975 from Delco Remy after 30 years of employment.
He was a Navy Seabees Veteran of World War II.
Surivors include his wife, Martha J. (Skinner) Tolle; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Patty) Cook of Anderson; a son, David Tolle of Huntington; a brother, Ray Tolle of Galveston; 4 sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Louie) Addison of Anderson, Mrs. Jay (Deloris) Chapman and Mrs. Paul (June) Hayes, both of Louisiana, and Mrs. Ralph (Kay) Gallant of Oregon City, OR; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 PM Thursday at Brown & Butz Funeral Home with Rev. R. B. Bingham officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home."
