Died on Saturday October 1, at her residence of Field's Creek, Kanawha County,
Mrs. Elizabeth Abbott.
Her disease was cancer in the breast, and her sufferings were long and severe,
which she bore with Christian resignation, and died in the hopes of a Blessed
Redeemer. She leaves a family of seventeen children, some of them small, to
mourn their loss. Their loss is her eternal gain.
