She was born to Cleo and Lettie Mae Nolley Birdow.
Mrs. Birdow-McCoy received her education in the Cayuga ISD and graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce with a B. A. Degree.
She had been employed at the city of Dallas for 27 years. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Tennessee Colony, Texas and later attended Concord Baptist Church in Dallas.
She was married to the Rev. B. W. McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Charles Birdow and Verlon Birdow.
She is survived by children; Donald Wayne McCoy and Adrinne Aurora Birdow of Dallas; her mother, Lettie Mae Birdow; her brothers Cleo M. Birdow of Fort Worth and Elton Birdow of Tennessee Colony, Tx.
