LUNN MEMORIAL SET IN LA JOLLA
Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in La Jolla Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Anita Oliver Lunn, 93, widow of a former lieutenant governor of New York and long-time contributor to many local educational. cultural and scientific undertakings.
Mrs. Lunn, who died Friday at her summer home in Austria, will be buried beside her late husband, George R. Lunn, in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
Scheduled to officiate at the services will be Dr. Harry G. Brahms, pastor of La Jolla Presbyterian Church, and Dr. Louis H. Evans of the National Presbyterian Church in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Lunn, the daughter of a mining engineer, was born in Oakland. Among her many benefactions are the United States International University, Children's Hospital Center of Northern California, the San Dego Symphony Orchestra Association, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Diego Opera Guild, the Fine Arts Society and the Social Service League of La Jolla.
She was first married to George C. Jensen who died in 1928. She later married George R. Lunn, a onetime Presbyterian minister and former lieutenant governor of New York. He died in 1948.
The family suggests contributions to the La Jolla Presbyterian Church, Scripps Clinic or the Scripps Memorial Hospital.(Contributor: Dean McMakin 46804161)
