Mr. JOHN ROBERT ASHBAUGH SR., 39, of Sandy Hook, died Monday, March 20, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Georgette Forth Ashbaugh. Born April 6, 1955 in Sandy Hook, he was a son of John Irvin Ashbaugh and the late Joan Marie Deener Ashbaugh.
Mr. Ashbaugh was a Methodist. He was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two daughters, Roseanna Ashbaugh, Harpers Ferry, WV; and Crystal Ashbaugh, at home; son, John Robert Ashbaugh, Jr., at home; sister, Gail Elaine Tribby, Sandy Hook; and maternal grandmother, Marie Miskell, Sparta, Tn.
Funeral services were held at the Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home; interment was in the Old Brethren Cemetery, Brownsville.
