AT ARTESIA CHURCH

Funeral services for Marine Pfc. Samuel Ramirez, killed March 25 in Viet Nam, will be at the Church of Christ in Artesia, Rev. Robert Waller will officiate.

Burial with full military graveside honors will follow at the San Marcos Cemetery at Artesia.

Date of services still pending arrival of Ramirez' body from View Nam Monday.

Ramirez, 19, was killed near Da Nang in east central Viet Nam. He was a member of the third platoone, E company, second battalion of the Ninth Marines.

Memorial services were held last week by the student body of Artesia High School. The American flag was displayed in the darkened auditorium while Ramirez was eulogized by a student.
