Albert E. Ghio, age 90, of Stockton CA, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013. He was born on May 10, 1922 in Stockton, CA to his parents, Guiseppi Ghio and Angela Ghio. Albert was the youngest of 5

children. He married Susan Devencenzi in Stockton, CA on June 30, 1946. They had 2 children. He was a lifelong resident of Stockton, CA for 90 years. He was self employed as a farmer for 75 years. Albert was a member of Mended Hearts

Chapter 40, Valley Commercial Bank board member and former president of the board of Tri Valley Growers. He enjoyed farming, hunting and volunteering for

Mended Hearts.

Albert will be remembered by his loving wife Susan and their children Joseph Ghio (Sharon) and Gary Ghio (Kathy). He is also survived by two grandchildren
Devon and Sophia Ghio. Predeceased in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 6993 N. Ashley Ln., Stockton, CA. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 10 am. Visitation will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Committal will be following Mass at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton CA.
