He had three sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Sadie BLAND, the oldest, died age 90; Mrs. Peggie OGLESBY died, age 80; Mrs. Winnie NEWTON died, age 70. The oldest brother, M.M. GAY, died age 52; John M. GAY died, age 70. His wife died 34 years ago. They reared 11 children: Charlie GAY, Mrs. Anna WOODCOCK, Mrs. Lula DAUGHTRY, D.J. GAY, C.T. GAY, Mrs. Betsey PARRISH, A.M.
