Eva was the first child born to Alvin and Hattie (Wheeler) Beach. She always went by her middle name, Leola. She was the Valedictorian of the 1922 graduating class in Gagetown, Michigan. On July 27th, 1925, Leola married Samuel Wiscombe. They had nine children together: William, Lyle, Mary, Gladys, James, Leslie, Samuel, Lois, and Inez. They moved from Gagetown to Pontiac, where they raised their children and ran Wiscombe Grocery. Leola passed away in 1984, at the age of 79.
