the Mt Wilson trail in the Angeles Nat. forest. The trail is 10 miles to
the top (where all the TV antennas are also an
observatory.)
The boys used to hike it a lot while they were growing up. The
town of Sierra Madre was at the foot of the mountains & we lived there for 37
yrs, 6 blocks from the start of the trail. We actually lived in the town
42 yrs, Joe lived there all his life, had a little apartment after we
sold the house & everyone else married & moved away, this gives you a
better idea where he is.
