Mrs. Downing is Dead.
Mrs. L. C. Downing, for many years a resident of this city, died at Shelbyville Friday, where she had been making her home for several months. The remains were brought to Palmyra for interment Saturday and funeral services were held at the Christian church, The deceased was a daughter of Rev. Jacob Creath and a sister of the late Mrs. H. E. Smith.

Mrs. Lizzie C. Downing died in Shelbyville last Friday and her remains were interred here on Saturday. Mrs. Downing was a daughter of the late Jacob Creath and was a native of this city.
