Albert died at the family farm, three miles east of
Goree, Texas. He was living in Parker County, near Weatherford in 1866. Later he moved to Young County settling in the Tonk Valley community. He lived there until moving to Knox County in 1900. He was a good man and was a friend of man. Mr. Coffman was a good farmer and when the drought of 1886 was in Young County, his crib was full of corn, but he did not sell any of it, he gave the corn to his neighbors and those in need. { Ref to The Graford Monogram, Feb 18, 1926 page 12}
