the close of the war July 19, 1865, he received an honorable discharge.
In 1867 he was married to Miss. Mary Swyhart at Webster City, Ia.
He came to Kansas and in 1880 was living in Phillips County, Kansas. In 1892
they had moved to Norway TWP in Republic County and then to Union TWP, near Republic Kansas, for the rest of his life.
Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Landreth , six, of whom
survive; Charles E, Clarence A, John F, Lillie, Sarah and Bert.
