She was born January 20, 1921 in Assumption, the daughter of Samuel and Nora Lang Brownfield. She married Ivan H. Beach and he preceded her in death. On March 28, 1960 she married Patrick Prince in St. Charles, Missouri. Mrs. Prince was a retired homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, several nieces and nephews, including Donna Dance, Doris Cunitz and Charles Howard all of Taylorville. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, brothers, John and Coke Brownfield, sisters Billie, Ginny and Mary.
Visitation was held 10 to 11 with services at 11 a.m. January 18, 2000 in Sutton Memorial Home with Rev. Phillip Icenogle officiating, burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery next to her first husband.
