MILDRED JEWELL RITCHIE, age 66, Cynthiana, died Friday, February 15, 2013 at her residence. Born in Nicholas County, September 16, 1946 to the late Charlie and Myrtle Stewart Carson, she was a former employee of Jockey International, 3M and Lexmark, member of Oddville Christian Church and a huge fan of UK Basketball. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Jackson Ritchie; four brothers, Robert Carson, Ralph Carson, DC Carson and Hobert Lee Carson; five sisters, Lorrine Carson, Bonnie Carson, Rachel Carson, Carrie Jolly and Laura Conley; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Carson and Sherry Carson and a brother-in-law, Junior Jolly.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Karen) Ritchie and Kevin (Karen) Ritchie, both of Georgetown; three brothers, Charles Carson and Rex (Linda) Carson, both of Cynthiana and Homer Carson, Florence; four grandchildren, Derek Ritchie, Rachel Ritchie, Nathan Hunt and Zackary Hunt; a sister-in-law, Margie Carson, Carlisle and a special niece, Lisa Conley.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Wayne Tolson. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Burial will be in Barterville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
