Donald Chadduck, 93, Jamestown, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Center, Jamestown.
Mr. Chadduck was born May 19, 1912, near Buchanan, N.D., where he attended school. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 during World War II. On Feb. 22, 1949, he married Mary Foster in Jamestown. They farmed near Buchanan from 1949 to 1956 . They moved to Buchanan, where he worked for Buchanan Elevator until retiring in 1978. He worked several seasons for David and Mike Boyle. In 1988, they moved to Jamestown. She died in 2001.
He is survived by two sons, a sister, and four grandchildren.
