HAMPTON - Thelma P. Shelby, 85, died Sunday, Jan. 21, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.
A native of Newport News, Mrs. Shelby had been a lifelong Peninsula resident. She retired as a binder from Franklin Printing Company, Newport News, in 1975 after 30 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Audrey L. Brooks of Newport News; a son, LeRoy P. Shelby of Hampton; a sister, Harriet P. Maignan of New Orleans, La.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
