**Note: Most family trees list Simpson Ingold as the child of George and Catherine Ingold. However, his death certificate says that his parents were Stancy(?) Brown and Nancy Ingold. In the census information below, he is listed as Simpson Brown, which is in keeping with his death certificate. Also, there is a Nancy Ingold among the household members, who might very well be Simpson's mother. Then again, records indicate that this Nancy Ingold married Abner Coble in 1958 and had her first child with him the following year, and neither appear to be household members in the year 1860. So at this point I presume the DC is referring to a different Nancy Ingold, unless the DC is wrong.
