Wadsworth: February 8, 2013 at age 87 years. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Nellie Flynn and brother Raymond Flynn in WWII. He is survived by his wife Noreen, daughter, Barbara (Lewis) Price of Wadsworth, son, Jerry (Jody Bailey) Flynn of Retsof, step-daughter Lisa (Bill Kobylanski) Parker of Wadsworth, step-son, Todd Parker of Plattsburg, NY, grandchildren, Brenda, Robert, Robin, Diana, Tyler, Jena, Zachary and Joshua, great grandchildren, Jimmy, Nick, Jake, Jack, Jenny, Brianna, Brittany, brother, Ralph Flynn of Wadsworth, sister, Marian Hawkins of FL, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Burial, Leicester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the York Ambulance Fund, PO Box 92, Retsof, NY 14539.

George A. Flynn, 87, of Main St. in Wadsworth, died Friday, February 8, 2013 at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. George was predeceased by his parents James and Nellie Flynn and brother Raymond Flynn in WWII.

He is survived by his wife Noreen, daughter, Barbara (Lewis) Price of Wadsworth, son, Jerry (Jody Bailey) Flynn of Retsof, step-daughter Lisa (Bill Kobylanski) Parker of Wadsworth, step-son, Todd Parker of Plattsburg, NY, grandchildren, Brenda, Robert, Robin, Diana, Tyler, Jena, Zachary and Joshua, great grandchildren, Jimmy, Nick, Jake, Jack, Jenny, Brianna, Brittany, brother, Ralph Flynn of Wadsworth, sister, Marian Hawkins of FL, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

George was born January 11, 1926 in Wadsworth, NY the son of James and Nellie Weller Flynn. He was retired from the Transportation Department at York Central School where he worked for over 50 years. George was a member and Past Chief of the Retsof Fire Department. He volunteered for over 27 years at York Central School as timekeeper for basketball games. George was a NASCAR fan, and enjoyed traveling and mowing lawns.

Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4-8 PM where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11 AM with Rev. Ray Lindquist officiating. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery.
