"H. Q Adams of Franklin county has a very interesting pension app on line in the GA archives virtual vault. It seems he served with a company of Cadets, and also served 2 years with Company C of the 27th Ga before transferring to Company C of the 7th South Carolina Regiment. He was sent home from the Battle of Bentonville, N. C. near Greensboro, so was not at the surrender.
