Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie R. Danner, 71, of 211 S. Crumley, were held Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in the Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Danner passed away Wednesday in Guymon Memorial hospital. The Rev. George Foster, former pastor, and the Rev. John Emery of Grace Baptist Church officiated at the services and burial was in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of Henson Funeral Home, Mrs. Danner was born Dec. 13 1892, in Guthrie, the daughter of Harvey and Leonett Gooch, and was married there to Arthur H. Danner On Feb. 5, 1913. The Danner family moved to Texas county in 1926 and resided in Texhoma until 1938 when they moved to Guymon. Mrs. Danner was a member of Trinity Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Hayden Danner, Leon Danner and Don Danner, all of Guymon; five daughters, Mrs. Leonett Jackson, Puyallup, Wash., Mrs. Lorene Price. Plains, Tex., Mrs. Nadine Morgan, Amarillo, Tex., Mrs. Lula Mae, Grice, Dalhart, Tex., and Mrs. Betty Sledge, Guymon; a sister, Mrs. Lois Johnson, Oklahoma City; a brother, Edgar Gooch, Guthrie; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Casket bearers were Harroll Backus, Gordon Grice, Pete Williamson, Lee Bragg, Dewey Coldiron and Paul Wilson. A quartet consisting of Mrs. Ralph Williams, David Krug. Arthur Liese and Mrs. Verlyn Bergen sang two songs accompanied by Mrs. Phil Dow.
