Evelyn M. Heacock Regan, 87, of Fayetteville, GA and formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday February 13, at Southern Regional Hospital in Riverdale, GA.

She was born June 26, 1925 in Bremer County the daughter of Anthony C. and Lillian A. Brockmeyer Sievers. She married Robert A. Heacock on May 29, 1946 in Waterloo. He passed away on July 9, 1985, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo. She then married Kenneth L. Regan on November 14, 1987, at Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Ken died on March 28, 2012 at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

Evelyn worked in food service for 10 years at West Junior High School in Waterloo and was a loving dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister! She recently moved to Fayetteville, Ga in October 2012, and resided at Christian City assisted living, so she could be near her daughters and their families. She was very content, well loved and cared for and we were so proud of her! She blossomed in her new environment! She will be greatly missed!!!

She is survived by a son, Michael (Gaylen) Heacock of Camano Island, Wa.; 2 daughters, Michele (Tom) Rising of Fayetteville, Ga and Paula (Jim) Davis of Ellijay, Ga.; one step-son, Richard (Nancy) Heacock of Cedar Rapids. 2 step -daughters, Denise (Kenneth) Becker of Lansing and Karen (Vern) Seidl of Clive, step-son Michael (Jill) Regan of Waterloo; a brother, Larry (Carol) Sievers of Waverly; a sister, Darlene (Al) Dana of Waverly; 2 sisters-in-law, Fran Sievers of Des Moines, IA and Elaine (Gene) Sievers Perkins of Britt, IA and a step brother, Stan (Mary) Weddeking of Waverly.

Evelyn has 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and counting! And many nieces and nephews!

She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, her parents and 2 brothers, Kenneth and Bobby.

Services will be Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM, light lunch to be served, then burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation to be held at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 1, 2013 and an hour before services on Saturday at the church.
